Think About the Children is a USA 501(c)(3) charitable foundation.  It was formed by Thomas E. and Cathy Clay Murray in order to provide a way for USA teachers, students and veterans to help the poor children of the world.

Our work has initially focused on Viet Nam and Africa.  In Viet Nam we have three libraries, a school and three micro-loan programs. In Africa we have a health clinic that serves a HIV-AIDS orphanage.  Currently our work is focused on Viet Nam.

So little money can do so much in Viet Nam.  Think About the Children can help American school children understand the challenges of the poorest people of the world and then take the unique step to actually do something about it.

Here are some examples of how little money it takes.  $37.50 buys a pig for breeding.  $30 supports a family for an entire six months.  $1,200 can build a house.  $8,000 can build a school.  Best of all Think About the Children has no administrative costs.  Tom and Cathy pay the expenses so 100% of all donations go directly to needy children.
